Day at the Museum!

We celebrated Bryleigh's 5th birthday at the Dallas Children's Museum. She had a blast although it was a bit chaotic at times for mom! There was a ton of stuff for them to do and they learned about a lot of different things...here is a few of the pics from this fun filled day!

Bryleigh in the "bubble area"

This was a really neat area. You could make all different sizes of bubbles with different shaped objects. She loved this, as did daddy. We learned that no matter what shape you use to make the bubble it will always be round! Pretty neat!

Bryleigh checking out the tarantula.

This room where Bryleigh is looking at a huge spider was the "explore your backyard" area. It had all kinds of insects to look at and learn about. They enjoyed being "caught" in a life size spider web and also crawling through a huge ant hill. They could dress up as ants and other insects...Bryleigh loved being the ladybug!

Bryleigh and Presleigh in Water World

Another area they got to explore was called Water World. This room had different height tables that water poured down. You could make rubber ducks swim, but mostly they just splashed around. Addyson tried to drink the water and ended up soaked in a matter of minutes!

Milking the cow in Farm Town

Farm town was another area that the kids loved. They got to plant seeds and see what they produced and then go and sell their crops at market. They had "Elsie the Cow" there and they got to milk her. This was by far the coolest thing they did, or so they thought!

The day at the museum was wonderful. Thanks to all who came and celebrated our baby girl turning 5! We are very blessed to have such wonderful family and friends!
