Santa Breakfast

Last weekend we had Breakfast with Santa at our local Applebee's. This was a fundraiser for Bryleigh's school and a life saver for me! We got to enjoy pancakes, Christmas music from the choir, and get pictures with Santa. Yes, no standing in a long, long line with screaming kids all afternoon! Perfect.
We were not sure how Addyson would do with sitting in a strange, bearded man's lap since last year she screamed her cute little head off like we had just sold her. But to our surprise she did great! She sat in his lap and said, "I would like a baby that eats!" Perfect.
Bryleigh had been changing her mind on what she was going to ask Santa for. On day it was an ice rink for the back yard (ummm...not in this Texas heat!) and the next it was a puppy (mommy will not feed another mouth!). Horrible parents? Not in my opinion...all Santa request in this house come through mommy and daddy first. Especially with they involve blades and another thing to feed. Well, it ended up that she asked for a new barbie doll with a barbie doll house. Perfect.
What a wonderful morning, enjoying breakfast with my family, gathering our things and walking right up to Santa to have a picture made...without the lines....and the fuss....is well....Perfect.
