My little ladybug

The end of the school year is always fun...this year we had field day, maniac Monday and then the Kinder program, of course. Each grade (other than Kinder) gets to perform a program for the PTA meetings held throughout the year. Not fair, but such is the life of a Kindergartner...no really, they probably didn't even realize that they were left out, but the moms? Ummm, yes, we noticed! Therefore when it was time to decorate the stage we went above and beyond!!!
Usually there is just the green curtain and the kids get up and sing their songs and its done. Not this year honey...nope, we were going to give the Kinder parents just as much as the other grades got....and a little more. Our motto, "If it has our names associated with it, it will be spectacular!!!"
I must say that we have some pretty wonderful Kinder mom's...look what we transformed the stage into!!!

The program was called "Bugs" so we went all out. We decorated the stage with all kinds of fun bugs and flowers and of course each class got a costume!! There were the Bees, Ladybugs, Spiders and the Flies! They were ADORABLE!!! Yes, it was hard work pulling this off in two weeks, but again...amazing moms!!! A special thanks goes out to Megan who stayed up till the wee hours of the morning with me making these spiders!!!

The program was a HUGE success and of course we thought our Ladybug was a shining star!

Here is to a fabulous Kindergarten year...can't wait to see what First Grade brings!!!
